CONSTELLATION - Auriga

The Charioteer, RA 6h DEC +40° 

has the well-known Capella as its brightest star. 

The idea behind the association between this particular pattern of stars in the sky and the concept of a charioteer is that it would somehow resemble the pointed helmet of a charioteer. Ceci est capilotracté.

One definitely needs imagination to make such connections.
